For those of you that need their Mizuno information very fresh - you can now register at MizunoTour on Twitter.

We'll still have more info on the main site, but Twitter will let you know when there's news posted.

Sorry guys... I probably spend more than enough time on the net than required, but I draw the line at social networking sites!!

Going on these sites is as bad as watching "big brother" on the telly!! ;-)

Actually despite my initial reservations I've found it really interesting, golfers like Poulter and Oli Wilson are particularly interesting as they post pics from the courses and reply directly to queries, Wilson even took the time to analyze a video of my swing and send me some comments! I was pretty chuffed.

There are loads of other golfers on there too but sadly no Mizuno players.

I don't want to blow my own trumpet too much (OK well just a little bit then). Basically he was very positive about it saying it was solid, good set up etc and not to change too much. It made my day getting a message like that from someone so high up in the game.

Crikey I bet even your blood type is B Negative you big ol' pessimist you ;-)

He regularly puts comments about features on the courses he's playing along with photos, plus several golfers have openly discussed how they use Twitter regularly on TV - There was a famous incident where people doubted that Lee Westwood was the real user running an account in his name, so he asked them to set him a challenge for the next televised tournament, he ended up doing a request where he actually did press ups on a green!

Ha Ha - I bet Oli Wilson will now be inundated with swings of everyone on the forum who twitters.... obviously not you Deemac... I agree that it is good that one of the Pro's gives something back, I cannot see Tiger ever doing anything like that..

I follow Poulters on Twitter and must admit that it is quite amusing at times, it's definitely him as you can see the pictures he posted from the Open.

Mizuno should ask one of there guys, maybe Chris Wood to Twitter.

Poulter is kinda funny on there - it's definitely him. He posted a vid as he was about to enter the gates of Augusta for Masters week of a huge dog in the car in the next lane.

Also a while back he got really freaked out when he noticed the sun and the moon in the sky at the same time - he posted a video. Bless.

Alot of it's kinda banal but some can be a little insight into their lives - a vid of Poults regripping his own clubs in his garage - who knew?

I remember him doing that as an April fool, the 2nd clip showed him having gashed his hand open just prior to the Masters and it was covered in blood - but it was just ketchup (not side splitting stuff but it's nice to see them have a more human side)

I felt the need to just add one more bit to this because Oliver has just offered to donate a prize to a charity quiz night I'm organising, what a bloody decent chap he is. Please also note that Mizuno have also offered me a brand new shiny bag as a prize - nice one Mizuno too!
