Buying new gear is an illness. I defy anyone to walk in to a golf shop without picking up a club & having a waggle.

If I walk into a golf shop and do that, i've mentally already bought the club. This is why I only go to golf shops when I actually need something.

I have to admit - I'm the total opposite. I can walk round golf shops all day and not feel the need to buy anything.

When I need something, I know what I need and I go get it - otherwise I have no interest in buying gear, I'm very unlikely to make an impulse purchase.
