Lady Beginner - replacement set advice

I have been playing for 12 months with a set of ladies Mizuno Astron Generation 2 irons, and I am now thinking of changing them for something more modern.

Due to the fact that I don't play as often as I'd like I will probably go for another set of secondhand clubs.

I really like the Mizuno brand and so I am thinking of MX-17 or MX-19 or maybe even MX-100.

can anyone give me some advice on which of these are likely to be the best for me, or should I assume the more modern the better?

thanks
Kate

Hi Kate

The MX range of irons for ladies changes every 2 years, 17 , 19 and the most recent being the 100 . all of these clubs will be better through tecnology than your current set. The problem i think you may find is finding a second hand set that best suits you. Be careful when you purchase second hand clubs because if they have been custom fitted to their previous owner then they may seem a good buy because of the price but may not fit you.

Get checked for your spec . Its a free service and you will be fully aware of your needs when you start to look around .

Don't discount other models...

The MX-25 would also be a great club for you providing you get it with the right shaft.
Remember - A players worth is not measured by the number at the bottom of the scorecard!
