I Just picked upmy new custom fit MP 64’s 5 thru PW with Program 130 shafts. Temperature was a
chilly 36* but no wind & felt much warmer. I was just content in picking my
new irons up & drooling over them when I got home. I did demo a set last
week in the simulator & was very impressed as that alone was enough to
convince me in making the purchase.    So I decided tohit a bucket of balls in the heated stall outdoors & all I can say it is
this me actually hitting the ball this good. From 1 club to the next I was so
consistent with a mid – high ball flight but piercing. Only had one pull &
one thin shot as the thin shot went perfectly straight & decent distance
for a ******. In fact I hit a few near the toe & my normal shot was a soft
draw & these flew straight with 1-3 yd. fade. The funny thing is on my toe
hits they felt just as good as my previous set of Ping Ansers. Wow!    I guess I don’tneed to say how wonderful they felt when I hit so many solid shots. It’s so
hard to put into words just how wonderful they feel so I will just say I’ve
never hit an iron that felt as great as these do. So no doubt that these are
absolutely the best out there of any irons to date in the feel category. Now
for looks it just doesn’t get any better, this is how a club so look. I was
surprise the top line was a bit thicker than my AP2’s that were replaced. No
fancy badges, florescent colors or fancy slots or cavity designs here. It’s
strictly all business as I was able to fire right at the flags with had me
smiling as if I just made the best golf purchase in my life.     I know what peopleon here have said about the forgiveness not being as good as some other CB
forged clubs but I have all the forgiveness I need in these clubs. They will
reward you for a good swing & let you know if you didn’t or where on the
face you hit the ball. Isn’t that what we all need to help us to improve? If we
have a swing flaw all the forgiveness in SGI clubs won’t mean a thing. I wish I
would have made the switch sooner as better late than never. Give these a
chance but make sure you get fitted as you may find yourself gaming these or
some other Mizuno iron product. I now know why people play Mizuno. Now to hear how much better they play on the course than the fitting & the outdoor hitting them on the range.....has me so glad I finally opened my eyes to what all the hype is about with Mizuno irons. I wasn't going to just listen to what others would say about them as I had to try them out for myself. Best decision I made.

I played KBS C-Tapper tour shafts in my Ping Ansers for almost 2 years the original ones when they 1st came out, Every year & a half I would play Pings. I had the original Raptures than the V2 as I wanted to experiment with a forged club. Ansers just didn't satisfy my hunger. Nice clubs though. Well I pick up a set of AP2's mid summer last year but kept my Anser's as back ups. Was very excited as to how good they felt & I thought this would be my club for 2013.
So I wasn't even looking to trade but I went ahead & hit some MP 64's in a simulator & was blown away. So after being fitted for some I slept on the thought of owning such a demanding set as everyone seems to think they are. They are easier to hit than I ever imagined. I just couldn't take it I ordered them & good bye Anser's & AP2's. So I have been a loyal Ping fan for so many years & no regrets whatsoever in making the switch. I see these clubs being in my bag for several years to club. From  reading other comments on this forum it seems like there is no need to be looking elsewhere. I know what they are talking about now. Love my MP 64's, best irons I've ever owned.

I've had some nice drivers especially nice shafts in them. Last year was an experimental year for me as my 2 drivers were a Ping i20 with GD DI BB shaft & an Adams Launch Lab with Fuji Rombax Platinum shafts. Both very long just needed added forgiveness . I got the bug to get an adjustable driver & I wanted to keep it looking traditional so I pick up a 913 D2 & have a Miyazaki B.Asha 4S shaft which is a beauty. This will be staying in my bag for a very long time. Out of all my clubs that I've owned the MP 64's are the best clubs I've ever hit or own. I've just narrowed down my inventory as I only need 1 set so I sold all my extra equipment to get the irons that would fit my game & keep me satisfied for years to come.
