I remember reading about this on another site a few weeks ago. You have to give him credit, he never gave up. He has to love the game to want to keep playing after all these years.

I couldn't play golf with a guy like that!  People that bad should confine themself to the range until they have a level of competence.

Sure - everyone has to start somewhere - but let's not kid ourselves, imagine playing behind this guy, or being in the same 4-ball???

If I was that bad, I'd quit and take up tiddly-winks or something...

Shouldn't be allowed near a golf course. Disgraceful!

How can you play for 25 years and have absolutely no clue what you are doing? he should not be allowed anywhere near a golf course, it is unfair to everybody with/behind the doofus

Just watched this last night and was shocked how after 25 years how bad he still was. Great that he is committed to the game, but if that is the case would have expected a little practice time and lesson here or there :-))

Love that they named the path after him though

This guy has amazing patience and determination but what a farce letting him hack up a course like that.

I'm sure everybody on this forum would love the chance to play Sawgrass but they let this guys (and three others 25yrs ago) loose on it...
