It was the club's first comp of the year and it was a bit of fun. Only 14 holes fully opened, and only allowed 5-clubs including a mandatory putter.

I decided against driver and took my 19deg MP650 hybrid and managed to hit 11 out of 11 fairways with it, and 2 out of 2 greens with it when used for my approach shots! I LOVE THESE CLUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, shot a gross 59 over 14 holes totalling a par of 54. Not bad with only 5 clubs in the bag!

nice shooting Dee, i think my hybrids are my favourite clubs in the bag as well. just point and shoot.

I am playing Cawder tomorrow with a few friends so hoping i have some of the form i displayed last week in the bag with me.

Are you playing the big course or the wee course?

The big course is a tough track - but the greens (in the summer) are some of the best I've ever played on!

Played my first Individual comp at the new gaff this morning was shocked to see 18 temp greens in play and some tees moved forward which spoilt it a wee bit.

A decent knock though 36 points with 2 blobs off my 6 handicap

Probably a little difficult to make a full judgment yet considering the conditions, but how are you liking the new place compared to the other course you are/were a member at?
