Now....

That would be telling! ;-)

Certainly looks the biz in that packaging. It's obviously going to be in the mix with the ProV1 and ZStar end of the market. Price point is going to be interesting to.

Price point will be down to the retailers, but it will be right there with the Pro V1 at somewhere between £40 - £49 per doz!

Will be interesting to see how many turn up with them to Slaley in May - they'll have been out for a couple of months by then!

it looks good but...
i hope its not the kinda cover i tried on a callaway soft / rubbery before.

first time i tried soft and rubbery covers on balls was some callaway ball maybe late 2003. i felt like i could peel off the cover....wait, i think i actually did peel one ball out of its cover!! i didn't like it a bit. felt very wierd in your hand.

its much like some glue was used to make the rubber cover stick to the core, then the glue vanished and that the rubber cover simply covered the ball, then when you hit the ball, the inside core spins while the rubber cover doesnt.

yuck.

maybe if the clubface didnt have groves in them, soft tacky rubber covers would make some sense.

i've tried some ok mizuno balls before, even came with pearlesent colors, which i liked. performed and felt like brigdestone e5/e6's.

i might be mistaken, i haven't seen and tried the mp ball yet. sometimes i hope i'm wrong.

It's not rubbery - it's tacky.

I've used the pearlescent balls myself before, it was the S-201, but wasn't too fussed on them.  These new MP-S balls are a different kettle of fish altogether... Very top end!

according to golf magic the ball will be priced at £49.99. I presume this is rrp so will be about the same price as the pro v1
. according to golfalot the release date is the 15th March 2013.

I am only saying what i have seen on the net so don't quote me! ;-)

Exciting stuff, how about sending some examples to Mizuno Forum members to test. A 3 pack would do it.  I promise a proper review in return :)

I will get some of these on release and I will compare them to the Bridgestone B330/B330s.

So they better be good.
