PGA Tour Tampa Bay Championship (spoilers)

Well back to the good ol' PG of A Tour this week. 

Less of a stellar field this week but an important weekend for thos e trying tpo tune up their games as the smell of Azelias starts to drift over from Georgia....

Luke defends his title this week against the likes of Sergio, Kaymer, Webb Simpson, matt Kuchar, Adam Scott, Jason Dufner, Louis Ooshuizen and all the usual all American PGA guys. Angel Cabrera also tees it up this week (don't know about you but I can only ever remember him popping up on Masters Sunday coverage..)

This is a very nice venue for a PGA tournament, and very popular among players.

Let us hope that LD catches up some form, on his way to Augusta.

Luke has just dropped a shot on the 6th ,his 15th to go back to -3.

Leader at -4

Luke ended up 1 under 70.Bogies on 3 of the last 4 holes!! 3 under leading it but still plenty out there yet.

Well Shawn Stefani is leading by 2 at 6 under - name ring a bell? 'Cos he was pictured using mp69s a few weeks back (TM Staff bag)

The only consolation in watching Luke miss greeens all weekend is getting to watch his recoveries6

Yep much better from Luke today. Lots of golf to be played yet by the leaders, but he finds himself just 2 off the lead as it stands.

Well I thought someone would take this a fair bit lower in the afternoon session, but it seems Luke (at -4) is in a better position than when he finished his round. Hopefully the confidence and momentum from today's round can boost him for a run at his defence tomorrow. There's a lot of nervous guys at the top of that leaderboard.
