I picked up an MP-001 3+ wood, 13.5* with the Exsar 60 Stiff for 20 Euros today. I had some issues getting it really flying off the deck but when it comes to directional control, it blew away my Ping i15 14*. I know it's said quite often but this thing just wants to go straight.
I've been milling over getting the MP-650 woods for quite a while now (I've been able to hit them only once (the fairways) or twice (driver) in a demo) but I also remember reading that the 650s should be very similar to the 001s, only slightly better. So maybe this'll nudge me over the edge to get the full set of a driver, 3w (15*) and a 5w of 650s.
