Unusual courses you'd love to play

When golfers are asked which courses you'd most like to play, there are many names that crop up again and again, such as Augusta, Pebble Beach etc - so I was wondering if you know of any that are unusual in some way, but also enticing. One I'd love to play is only 9 holes, but what a lovely place to put them http://www.lordhowegolf.com.au/about.html
6 iron Swing speed 84mph
Tempo 3
Toe Down 5
Kick Angle 2
Release Factor 8

I have to mention Nefyn here. If you can't make it to Pebble Beach, this is the Welsh equivalent. A front 10 holes and then two back 8s, one of which takes a pretty scenic route.... and it's accessible down the road in North Wales

Hey I was looking at this place and they advertise on teetimes.com only £18 after 5pm

A unique 26 hole championship golf course with an unrivalled view of the sea from every tee, Nefyn and District Golf Club is a golf course that can be enjoyed by golfers of every standard. Golf was first played at Nefyn in 1907 and the course used to be described as one of Wales' 'best kept secrets'. Today the secret is out, and visitors from all over the world make the trip to this spectacular piece of coastline, to experience not only the challenge of the golf course, but also the breathtaking scenery and tranquility of its secluded location. In the case of so many of its holes, the course invites the golfer to create the challenge. The course comprises ten outward holes and two separate inward eight holes. After the initial outward 10 holes, visitors to Nefyn have the choice of playing either The Old or The New Course. The Old Course opens with three par 4's and a par 5 which run along the coastline before turning inland. Every hole calls for accurate shot making and in a few cases, some spectacular carries across coves and inlets. Alternatively, the golfer can continue on The New, with an opening par 3 which, depending on the wind, can be a wood or a medium iron. Thereafter, a series of longish par 4's and a par 5 around a coastal inlet brings the golfer back to the 18th tee with its panoramic view of the entire course.

Haha just as I'm typing this, it's on Sky on an advert for Golf Wales :)

Here's the 13 tee - bail out right and leave a long approach or take on that carry (we lasered it at 210 yards...;.and both made it ...just)

I can recommend the first course I ever played back in 1980 aged 11... [url]http://www.portroyalgolf.bm/

Not much has lived up to it since... played 9 holes in 45 :) ps I'm not even close to rich, just had an Uncle in the Navy who married a Bermudan girl. He managed to become President of the Bermuda Golf Association hence free rounds :D (sadly now deceased RIP Uncle Terry)

I really enjoyed a round here - Leeds Castle - not in Leeds at all but in Kent (I used to work in Kent - I'm better now)

Really nice little course that winds it's way around the castle. I topped one tee shot into a picnic area and played my 2nd over some trees by the side of some poor family's rug of goodies :)

That's my one!!!!!!!!!!
