I was told today that my order for a JPX 829 19 Hybrid with Project X 5.5 Shaft cannot be fulfilled by Mizuno UK because they are not getting anymore 825 Hybrid heads! Can someone please confirm, I was so disappointed.

Something not quite right with that I'd have thought. It's only this years model for goodness sake. Surely it can't be doomed already.

I echo DCB's thoughts.  Surely can't be correct.

Got to agree with DCB,

Would be much surprised if that was the case!

I placed an order through GolfBuyitonline.com for a 16deg JPX825 Hybrid Fujikura Orochi Blue SR flex on Sat 16th April,

Received delivery of it today 24th April!;)

As I understand it there is no problem getting the club with stock shafts.

Here's what I think has happened.....

You've ordered the 8 clubs
You asked about the hybrid
Naughty retailer thinks "ooh here's an extra £120 of pure profit we can make on this deal"
Retailer tells you they aren't available but orders one anyway with a view to selling seperately.
You post on here about it
Retailer is unaware of Mizuno forum
You name and shame retailer on here
They get in trouble with Mizuno and lose business.

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and cynical..

Just taken delivery of an H4 this week. I ordered it 10 days ago and did seriously consider the 825 hybrid instead. Ordering wasn't a problem at that time.

Saw sense and got the H4 instead ;)

There was a case of this on here a few weeks back.

The retailer (I think it was AG) claimed that the free hybrid offer did not apply with a price match.  Which of course is rubbish as the retailer sells at his price and Mizuno provide the free hybrid.
