Go see a pro and make sure you are swinging it correctly first. If you are not you will only ingrain the mistake making it harder to eradicate.

Pretty sure that is what Hank does in his shows. He shows them exactly what he wants them to do in their swing and then tells them to work on grooving that with the practice swings. He isn't telling anyone to make 100 swings any way you like and you will instantly become a better player.
