Golf Tour

Well it's reached that time of year again when our inaugural annual golf tournament has arrived - four days away from the wives and kids (yes will miss them a bit!) with 7 guys for a beer, birdies, surf and golf fest....

Line up is Nicklaus Course St Mellion, Trevose and Bude before heading back home on Sunday possibly via Royal North Devon.... should be fun, weather looking okish at moment, car nearly packed and waiting for my buddy to arrive from Lincoln before heading off....

I love September and Golf Tour's......

Any of you guys do the same??

If you're down this way again, and you haven't played it before, get yourselves on at St Enodoc, couple daft holes but stunning in the main.

Hope you enjoy your trip.

Enjoy - the weather is looking good for the next few days. Played Bude last Friday they had done some work on the greens so they weren't in the best condition but should be better by now. Nicklaus is always a joy to play (providing you're hitting it reasonably straight)
got 36 holes foursomes medal at Trevose next Sunday it's always in good ninick

enjoy it mate and do have a look at Enedoc if you get the chance

My golf tour is always in April... Love It!

Bude was in gd nick but greens a little bumpy. Quirky but good track.

Very disappointed with Trevose overall, winter rules in play and it looked a little over played and greens top dressed. Scenery and views spectacular though.... Should be better in a week according to green keeper we chatted to.

We've just had silly season with all the emmets so not surprised Trevose was looking a little tired.

You haven't mentioned the Nicklaus? Bad day off the tee? I played it a couple weeks back and the greens were shocking, not sure why they were keeping them so long, you needed a wedge from anything over 20 feet, shame as it's usually in great nick.

Trust you enjoyed the trip though?

Nicklaus course was simply stunning - couldn't fault any aspect of it. Tee to green - superb....

Rough was penal, no run, quick greens and accuracy was king - sadly I was not King!! Still enjoyed it tremendously though.. in fact so much we are going to return next year
