New MP-69 outdoor photos (v MP-68)

All - you'll see on the main site today that we've added links to download studio shots of the new irons. But experience tells us that you want to see a little more.

Here are some shots we took just for you - with 3,6,PW and a comparison against the MP-68. Looks similar at first glance, but there are some real changes when you look side by side.

More meat behind imapact and lot more work to the sole.

Great photo's thanks!

Sweet irons.

I had the 68's...and I wish I played enough to still have em!

Amazing how much bulge is on the muscle now. I prefer the sole bare of the running bird though.

Still not quiet as nice as Faldo's bare tn87's from 90' The open at St Andrews...still the holy grail I reckon.

Enjoy your new toys.

Great pix, thanks!

How do the 69s look at address vs the 68s? To me the 68s are the best looking clubs at address I've seen, and that's through the entire set. Are the only changes behind the face or did the toe curve change somewhat as well?

Similar at address. There's a hint of the pregnant toe from the MP-32 in there.

Think you can see that the sole is somewhat different with the new bevel. Plus weighting is changed - more meat behind the ball.

I don't like that the running bird is off the sole and onto the back of the club! Makes the back of the club look too busy/fussy.
It is a paradoxical but profoundly true and important principle of life that the most likely way to reach a goal is to be aiming not at that goal itself but at some more ambitious goal beyond it. - Arnold Toynbee

Ok I just bought mp53's but I could be tempted to go back to blades with these 69's, wonder how much my 2 week old 53's will be worth?

Will the 69s be available in black nickel? If so, what's the timing for their release? Will they be ready when the chrome are out in a couple of weeks?

They are gorgeous irons. Like Deemac, I'm not sure about moving the running bird from the sole. Can't see the point of that really. No doubt on the whole they are an improvement on the 68's and probably a tad easier to hit.
Not a Club to my name. Not playing at the moment. Selling all my stuff has paid for a few holidays though!!
