What is the dress code for Saturday night?

Mankini I think but need to know for sure I don't want to be the only one wearing one

After all the sun this weekend my face and arms are bright pink, I think my Flo Green Mankini may clash and could look a bit silly

If this weather keeps up I could wear my pink shorts to match my skin at Slaley?

Dress code is Smart /casual apparently. However, I found this on Tripadvisor

"dress code at dinner left a lot to be desired, Barbados shorts and sandals just a tadge casual?"

Looks like casual it is :)

Let's not stoop to everyone else's level!  Smart casual please, as we have a function suite to ourselves on the Saturday night.

I know my Mrs and her pal are looking forward to dressing up a wee bit for the Saturday night, I think it would be nice to follow suit.  not dinner jackets or anything, but a nice smart casual look would bring a sense of occassion don't you think? ;-)

Would putting creases down the fronts of the Bermuda shorts be smart enough or do I need to polish my flip flops as well :)

There's "smart casual" and then there's "smart casual".

Are we talking:

a) Trousers & shirts

or

b) Smart jeans & polos

Always best to spell it out.

I can do either.

What about the Friday night then? How smart/casual is that? I'm thinking Jeans and polo shirt with shoes, not trainers obviously...

On an unrelated note, who is going to pick up the trophy for me on Saturday night? I have to be away at 17:30 at the latest so that I can get into work at 8.... Maybe Bubba can pick it up, just so he briefly knows how it feels to be a winner.:D

I don't want to be too prescriptive, but I think trousers and a smart shirt or top would be ideal...

I think Friday will be slightly less formal, so I'm not too precious about it.

That's a shame about you having to leave early Mate - you sure you couldn't stay another hour? Dinner starts at 17:30.  Surely you could grab something to eat and then watch someone else pick up your trophy!
