Just contacted them about the MP25s, got the response that you can only use the code on "In stock" items and that they wouldnt be able to order the 25s for me anyway!
Why the fook have things advertised if they cant take orders?????

They have some history of their sales not been exactly 100%. Like the times when they stated 'not applicable with other offers' and wouldn't let you use with the members prices.
Had this with golfbuyitonline if anyone remembers, selling off everything at silly prices then not delivering the stock, i bought a set of Nike Covert forged irons off them at a silly price, luckily they did deliver them....( although when they went through the hoop i claimed my money back off paypal...lol)....be very wary of sales like these....maybe ok buying clothing or balls, but not clubs...,
Makes you wonder how they run the business, the online team said they couldn't order any irons for me. You would like to think that if they had stock in the shops then they would be able to draw from that.
Think I'm going to wait for the Tour truck to visit Royal Birkdale as I was impressed with the setup last time I visited.
Mrs B know nothing about any of my golf purchasing and I would like it to stay that way thank you!!
Saw a full set of MP5 unboxed yesturday, was slathering at the mouth. Next purchase mybe!!!!

The parent company, Powerhouse Golf Limited, is showing Administrators appointed on 01/10/15.
Newspapers reported that John Andrew (Direct Golf) called in Begbies Traynor as Administrators, but Mike Ashley tried to gazump this and appoint his own Administrators to tie up a 'pre-packaged' deal. The Administrators are Duff & Phelps, so does this mean that Ashley has got his way and Direct Golf will now become part of his empire?
Thought I'd resurrect this post rather than start a new one (?) - As mentioned above DG went into administration (officially on 20th October I believe?) - They are up & running again "under new ownership" - A word to the wise, if you have any unused DG vouchers you will not be able to use them either in-store or online - My son sent me one for my birthday recently & I have been unable to use it - I have details of the people to contact if you have vouchers and/or can send you the "Proof of Debt" form that you need to submit if you want to try & recover the value of your voucher - The nice man I spoke to suggested I am unlikely to get any of my money back, but being an orthodox tightwad I have still submitted my claim

I've always been a fan of Direct Golf and often visited there stores when I had the chance, not only because they gave me a Forces discount but because the staff were usually quite knowledgeable and listened to your need rather than push the Taylormade product of the month in your face.
I've been following this story for a while and ever since Mike Ashley got his foot in the company door it has gradually gone downhill; a bit like Newcastle FC!!! It has now got to the stage where the DG website is starting to look a lot like an extension of Sports Direct, not in the graphical sense but in the products for sale. Gone is the plethora of top brand equipment and replaced with the likes of Dunlop and Slazenger. I've nothing against Dunlop BTW; they do make a good squash racket and half decent tyres!
Once he's destroyed this company and their brand name (some would say he already has) where will he turn to next.
