Feel free to shift these over to General if I've jumped the gun by posting these in here

The big guns are back in action this week (apart from Luke ofc)

Rory, Lee, Tiger and Phil will ensure that this event is at least Box Office in the States. Add Furyk, Hunter, Zach Johnson, BVP, Rickie Fowler et al into the mix and it should be good viewing.

This is the place where Rory really announced himself in the US winning in 2010 setting the course record (62) en route.

(Edit: changed pic to be even more tenuous)

Good job the embedded link doesn't work - it's another tenuous one BP!

Definitely a deep field for this event!

I think this a good place for the spoiler threads btw.

Westwood has a change of Caddie this week, apparently Billy Foster is injured.

He was also using one of those fat grips on his (normal length Anser) putter. I hope something works with his putting somewhere.

Westy is the best player in the world tee to green - as soon as he finds a bit of magic with the putter, he'll be a hard man to beat!

Looks like there is some good scoring going on early. John Senden is -6 thru 13 holes this morning.

Lee and Phil were out and done early - both made a move with 68s - and it only took them 3 1/2 hours!!

Rory's folks surprised him last night by turning up and taking him for a birthday dinner - today he's 3 under after 3 to go 3 off the lead

Watney leading on -12

Tigger missed the cut if you haven't heard already... (same score as Mike Weir which is never good these days)

Rory suddenly 2 off the leaders after 4 birdies in the first 5 holes....he could be eyeing up his own course record at this rate.

Westwood making an early charge (-3 after 6) to get him within 6 of the lead - probably too much ground to make up considering who he has to catch...

One of those is Rory - sitting pretty at -12 tees off soon in the penultimate group ahead of Ryan Moore and Webb Simpson.

A top 7 finish will see Rory snatch back the ever changing #1 Ranking spot.

Luke, Lee and Rory's consistently high finishes will pull them further clear of the rest of the World (the next 10 not in contention this weekend - Hunter and Phil sitting at 57th and 54th respectively as it stands)

Lee EAGLES the 7th..... goes to -10 (leader at -14)

Meanwhile Mizzy man Johnathan Byrd is back on the 7th fairway at -7 (inside the top 20)

Westwood still going nuts (-7 after 11 to be 2 off the lead) and Rory birdies the second to be one off the lead...

D A Points leads with Webb Simpson struggling on the first...

Should be a good un this

Well it didn't quite happen for Lee (still nice fantasy points cheers)

Let's see if his BigPetesBangers team mate Rory can pull this off. One off the lead halfway round...

You've got to hand it to Rikki...

Managed to keep his composure despite having a caterpillar crawl over his top lip the entire time...
