Going into the last major of the year with some form should be interesting.
He's at 200/1 on Betfair, that's decent value if ever I've seen it.

I found this very intersting - and also very agreeable...

What do you think?

I'm starting to get a little bored of the whole Tiger thing tbh.

I was a fan. I still am a fan. He's not playing well. Now the rest of the golfing world has caught him up and it makes for more interesting viewing.

For now at least, I don't want to read about Tiger. If he starts winning again - that will be the story. As it is, let's give the other lot the coverage they deserve.

(this isn't directed at Deemac - just the golfing media in general)

And back to topic - yeah Chris Wood worth a few quid at that price \0/

Think you two may be talking about 2 different Woods!

And i dont mean Driver or 3!???

I'm assuming this based on 200-1 odds, that cant be the Tiger version, must be the Chris!?

The way the Tiger is playing recently i'd give Chris as good a chance of winning right enough

now that i've said that Tiger will romp home to victory!

Sorry guys - I should have explained the reason for my posting the link...

The reason I posted the link was because I now feel that every single tournament - especially the majors - are up for grabs by any golfer out there!!

I do not believe that Tiger is the force he once was, and now predicting the winner of each tournament has become decidedly harder!

Who would have bet on McDowell or Oosthuizen (if that's how you spell it??).

Wood (Chris) stands as good a chance as any other golfer on the circuit now.

I much prefer tournament golf now that it is more competitive and unpredictable, and it is a far more level playing field now that Tiger has returned to mortality.

All the best to each and every Mizuno staffer...

D.

Here's a quiz - who won the majors in 2003 - without looking it up.

Yeah all first time winners - all of em not done a whole lot since (apart from Furyk and a lesser degree Weir)

The point is - this was at the height of Tigers powers - he had won 7 of the previous 11 majors.

He sacked Butch Harmon in 2003 and went with Haney.

Everyone has slumps and more often than not the Majors are the hardest to predict - who had McDowell or Oosthuizen?
