Luke (and GMac) make their season's debut at this event. A strong field including Mickelson, Kuchar and Westwood will battle it out at Riviera Country Club in California (familiar to computer golfers)

Luke is paired with Adam Scott and GMac for the first couple of rounds and tees off at noon (8pm UK time?)

CH3 +3 after 3 holes btw :(

Matt Kuchar setting the early pace (-7 after 17) as Luke wanders over to the first tee

Luke just eagled the short par 4 10th with what might be the sweetest flop / pitch shot you'll see all year...^^ (currently -1)

Driving the ball long today too - a lot of 300+ drives

Nice 66 from Luke sees him comfortably near the top at -7.

He has holed out 5 times from off the green already in two rounds.....

Short game just as sharp as normal then!

Let's hope he has a killer season, and get's back to the top of the rankings!

Luke sitting nicely and he'll be out in a good three today so I hope he can go low again on Saturday. He should figure in the coverage tonight as should Lee W.

Whole leaderboard looking good for an exciting couple of days golf.

It still annoys me greatly how little TV time Luke gets!  I was listening to the news last night on the radio and they mentioned Lee Westwood's score and didn't even mention Luke's score... incredible!

Don't often see Luke hit a shot like that - but boy - it was a good one!

especially on that hole. It's is surreal to see players struggling so much with such a short par 4. It has been an automatic bogey so far if you go for the green in one and miss right.

He's only had 5 shots on it 2 rounds so far - one less that Phil's 2nd round

Another shot of the day (possibly the year) there from Luke - 230 yards out of trees - to 3 feet....

rather like round one, an up and down round so far but still in touch.

Just saw that shot, that was awesome. No one has been within 15ft all day.
